The small slab of wood that I just use as a coaster for my water pot when I'm working has evolved into a kind of 'paint stain palimpsest' (and try saying that whilst eating a Strawberry Chewit):
Ah, yes, it could be a rabbit hole. Or - as I see it - the swirling vortex of a newly discovered solar system in a lit-up and peculiarly pastoral sky :-)
Yes it is. :)
ReplyDeleteYes, yes, yes! Don't put another water pot down on this, it's perfect. I love it. Oh, and 'Paint Stain Palimpsest' is a great title too.
ReplyDeleteIt is (art), isn't it?! I'm going to turn it upside down and use the other side now, see what happens to that.
ReplyDeleteI want a Strawberry chewit!
ReplyDeleteI knew that would get some mouths watering!
DeleteI refuse to go down this rabbit hole...it is a rabbit hole...and will simply say it's turned out beautiful.
ReplyDeleteAh, yes, it could be a rabbit hole. Or - as I see it - the swirling vortex of a newly discovered solar system in a lit-up and peculiarly pastoral sky :-)
DeleteImpressionist spirograph?
ReplyDeleteYes! Impressionist spirograph, with a hint of Klimt (bottom right)
DeleteWell I like it a lot more than some stuff I see hanging on the walls in places at times...
ReplyDeleteYes - the irony is that if I *tried* to produce something like it intentionally, I'd fail miserably....
