Yes, beautiful. I used to assume she was French-born too, from her whole association with France and the nouvelle vague films, but yes she was originally from your country!
It's only been a couple of days since I looked at your "Stripes" post but I think I like "Checks" even better. Love checked clothes but maybe it's in my DNA because of all the tartan around here.
The bird looks great also but not sure what kind it is? And as for Noddy's tie - he was always a bit of a joker that Neville Holder and still is!
Reminds me of the old joke... you know the one but hey I'm going to tell it anyway: Noddy goes to buy a new suit, all big lapels and flares, for the Slade reunion gig, and the shop-owner asks, "Would you like a kipper tie with that, Mr Holder?"
"Oooh, luvlye!" says Noddy, "Milk an' three sugass, ployz"
Noddy's tie is almost as long as the one that Trump wore at his inauguration. Almost.
ReplyDeleteAlmost! But presumably not held together with sticky tape...
DeleteAnna Karina has a beautiful face. I assumed she's French, apparently was born in Copenhagen.

Glad you liked the checks, there's a little hint of tartan in there too along with dog-tooth (who knew there were so many variations on a theme?!)
DeleteThe bird is the wonderfully named Common Loon. I won't forget that now.
Never mind Trump Swede I suspect we all wore ties like that in the late 70'S/early 80'S

(I couldn't resist.)
Great picture of Mr Kerouac.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it? Cool as fuck.
DeleteBrilliant. Can't stop gawking.
ReplyDeleteAh thanks. I like compiling these pics! More soon (I think - I have some ideas in mind anyway!)
